CLK Properties is excited to announce its second acquisition of 2024, with the successful closing of Vista Lake Ned, a 212-unit apartment community, located in Winter Haven, Florida.
The acquisition of Vista Lake Ned reflects CLK’s long-term strategy to acquire high-caliber assets within secondary and tertiary markets that feature economic stability and expanding high-demand industries that foster long-term economic growth.
“This market has all the economic drivers we’re looking for to grow our multifamily portfolio,” said Craig Koenigsberg, Founder & CEO of CLK Properties, “the high-quality asset is centrally located between Orlando and Tampa along the I-4 interstate artery that connects the two. Less than an hour from either city, Winter Haven’s prime location along the I-4 corridor makes it a magnet for companies looking to establish or expand their operations in the region.”
Publix, Amazon, Saddle Creek Logistics, Rooms to Go, and Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits are all major employers in the market with a significant industrial presence. The area also acts as a regional healthcare hub, insulating the local market from Marco-economic cycles, while the local economy is further underpinned by its established and growing private sector. Publix, one of the largest and fastest growing grocery chains in the nation, has both its corporate headquarters as well as large distribution facilities in the area, employing over 15,000 combined and Insurance company Geico employs over 3,800 in the market.
Due to these economic drivers, the population in Polk County has grown 62% since 2010 – ranking it as the fastest growing county in Florida and the 7th fastest growing county in the nation.
Vista Lake Ned represents CLK’s 6th asset in Florida, totaling 1,655 units owned and operated by CLK throughout the sunshine state.
